Poor writing
Season 5 there is a good story in there somewhere but it was dragged out by BAD writing. Very repetitive the character in the story often saying the same things in every episode “who do you work for” but it never goes any where . And boring drunken voicemails or moaning “I’m tired” voicemails. I was so annoyed by episode 5 that I had started it because I had to finish it. It was painfully dragged out until the very end for a disappointing not surprising at all end. If you want something mundane to fall to sleep to then this could be it. The story could have been told in 5 episodes. I don’t understand what happened to the writing it was lost- were they trying to take us on a love story? Because if they were they fell very short and put an portrayed a very annoying whiny character. They hinted a interesting bits but never went any further. So disappointing.

What a fun show. I'm super excited to see where it goes from here. Another outstanding podcast from the Night Vale crew.Read full review »

Alice Isn't Dead is pretty good, but also not really my cup of tea. But I just finished the first episode of this, and it definitely brought me back in....Read full review »
