“I know and understand that Lena Dunham as a public figure has maintained her fair share of controversy as a self-proclaimed feminist. I might be biased as well because I’ve adored Lena since the very first time I saw Girls in 2012. She had made some mistakes in response to certain things but I do not for one second believe she is any less progressive or less a feminist simply because she is a human being. No one is perfect and there is no person on earth who identifies as a feminist who is a picture perfect reflection of feminism as a whole. I believe that Lena cares very deeply about women and about the topics she addresses in her podcast.
I believe she is sincere and I love listening to her podcast. Keep up the good work Lena,
