“I’m not sure what the goal of the c word is, but if Lena and friend are looking to help reframe the way we look at women who are called crazy, they need to do more rigorous research and tone down the sensationalism. This show just comes across as gossipy and making light of undiagnosed mental illness, women’s issues, substance abuse etc. the idea is good, they’re just not the right people to tell this story and the end result feels cheap and irresponsible”
