This has been missing from the Bach-iverse
I've only been watching the Bach franchise for a few years, pulled in, as is the case with many men, by my wife and her friends. I'm now zealous in a way reserved only for converts, but none of the attendant commentary, which is half the fun, seemed geared toward me and my sense of humor until Rose Buddies. RB blends earnest fandom with hilarious self-awareness of the innate absurdity of the world of the show and of its very existence. Griffin and Rachel have a fabulous chemistry, which is not guaranteed from a husband and wife team, with contrasting temperaments that, crucially, stop short of "character work". The result is a show that gleefully yet gently rips The Bachelor a new one without making you feel meanspirited or a killjoy. Nothing else like it in the greater Bach-iverse. Five stars.Read full review »

Dumb as to finish that quote here where people might not get the reference. Listen to this podcast immediately. When you're ready.Read full review »

Excellent review of a show that is excruciating to watch, but such a car crash that I struggle to look away. Would love to see you guys review the Australian Bachelor/Bachelorette show when it airs here. :)
