Words fail me - unlike Word
Begun in the golden days of Word Magazine, evolving through Word In Your Ear nights in Islington, and now, courtesy of lockdowns, back to its roots of two cocoa tins and a bit of string, Mark Ellen and David Hepworth are the rock raconteurs par excellence. I was there for the first one and I shall doubtless still be listening when I turn up my toes. A national treasure, not to be missed.

Love the guests, love the info… but for god’s sake will you two rude old farts LET YOUR GUESTS FINISH THEIR SENTENCES!! Go back and listen to how many times you interrupt a perfectly interesting train of thought or comment from your guests with another question.

I’ve been listening to this podcast for what must be around 10 years now and it never lets me down. If like me you still mourn the passing of Word magazine this will be a pretty good substitute.
