Books are not all created equally, and there are so many differences between writing kids books, and writing novels. For the first one, I had to learn those differences, and I had to remember this was their book, Finn and Jake's not mine. So how did that go?

So apart from all the myriad of benefits the kids and I got from writing a book together, we had fun at the markets. We've started small but are moving on up from a small market to something big and challenging. How cool is that?But what does it really mean?

What to write? That wasn't a question we had, it came naturally as the book came first then the idea to write it, publish it and get it in print came after. Perhaps for you it's coming the other way around. Let's see what we can do about that. And why did we write about a car that has a lot to learn, instead of what was going on with us?

Have you found yourself going from Hero to Zero? I’ve been a professional athlete and get back up when I fall. I’ve flown some of the biggest jets in the world and know how to deal with emergencies. So how could I be falling and not know how to stop it? And when I looked down at my two young boys, 2-year-old Jake with big brown, puppy eyes and 6-year-old Finn with Leonardo DiCaprio blue, both with the look of the lost and confused, I knew I had to step it up and find a way.
