Host Dan Simpson is a terrific interviewer and ridiculously likable. He begins each episode by asking his guest to describe what they see around them each day when they sit down to write, which is a fascinating detail I always look forward to. As a writer I have learned a lot from this podcast and I appreciate the lack of ego from Simpson who, unlike other hosts, allows his guest to take center stage.
