Depressing
I must not be the target demographic. I was hoping to learn more about the process of writing to pursue my own dreams. I couldn't make it past about the 10 minute mark of episode 1. The story being told was dark, depressing, and made me uncomfortable enough that I turned it off and wrote this review. My advice, before starting this be aware they go right for the emotional jugular.Read full review »

What a great find! The voices and the stories are real, raw and utterly engaging. The stories are always entertaining and often touchingly sad. But the best part is that teacher Andrea always coaxes a lesson out of whatever it is we are listening to.

Meh
These two women use crude language and push personal perspectives in lieu of actual solid writing advice. Waste of time and an offense to the ear for my podcast time.

I love this podcast, the hosts, and the students. I have started writing and telling stories again after years of silence. I’m uncovering myself - peeling back the layers to get to the core of me. The episodes inspire and encourage me. I’m forever grateful.
