Carmen from Young Statues gave us an awesome interview and live performance of a couple songs. What a good way to end out the year. We sap over our time at WSOU in general and on the Campus Buzz. We end this run surrounded by our friends and good music. Rock on, everyone. Much love. That's a wrap.

Well, it's the second to last one that we've got. We play some new music (as usual) and rave over The Rouge. The last bit of music is an ode to the music Type A played in high school.... sigh. Now we are graduating college.

We had a really fun show with Jack White music to celebrate Record Store Day and a visit from Ryan of The Ugly Club (that would be why much of this playlist is dominated by The Ugly Club). He gave us live tunes, too. Whatta voice. Enjoy!

We play some music from the folk opera Hadestown written by Anais Mitchell and featuring Justin Vernon. The rock opera comes from The Decemberists' Hazards of Love, a total spin on the usual music from them. Some new music from Mother Mother and Peter Peter (two separate bands) and a giveaway for Bad Books as well. Enjoy the indie.

The White Stripes, The Decemberists, Blondfire, Youth Group, Ra Ra Riot and new A.C. Newman are some of the artists you'll hear in this mix.

Humbled by the luck we've had staying safe through the Hurricane/Superstorm Sandy, we wanted to focus on the things that are really important to us. One of those things is music... We compiled a list of the bands we can't live without and double-played them all. Enjoy!

Clean up your houses and relieve some cabin fever with our hurricane playlist, as if you haven't heard enough about Sandy already. We're hopin' everyone's okay!!!!

Well, yes, we play the title track from Babel here and drool over every note. But in addition, you'll hear all the usual suspects and some new stuff from Alt-J, Benjamin Gibbard, Ben Howard (oh my goodness), Stars, Two Door Cinema Club, Grizzly Bear and...well, a whole lot more.
