What a captivating listen, even for a Canadian
I have recently started listening to this podcast following a growing interest in the Great War. Although I am Canadian, the stories and experiences would have been much the same and in fact are often covering the same ground. I have especially enjoyed the Smythe diaries as it give us a first hand experience of the thoughts and experiences of one who was there. It better than any documentary as again it was I the soldiers first had words. Thanks and I love it. 16th Bn. C-SCOT-R Victoria, BC Canada. Jim M.

An excellent podcast the narrator puts so much time and effort into this more than I’ve ever known in a podcast before so much information highly recommended.
