“YOU GUYS. I am *obsessed* with XWP and have been since I was just a Smol Gay and the show was in syndication. I discovered the podcast after starting another rewatch with my lovely fiancée, a Xena virgin. Vera, Katie, and Livy bring their film school backgrounds into each discussion, shedding new light on aspects of the series and its production which I hadn't considered up to this point. These ladies are brilliant and hilarious and have great chemistry as co-hosts, riffing on the often cheesy, forever subtexty 90s gloriousness of Xena which we all know and love. I can't get enough of this podcast and have been binge listening for weeks now nonstop, eagerly anticipating their discussion of some upcoming episodes. (hello, 3x11-3x13!)
Basically, this podcast is the bee's knees and required listening for any fan of the Xenaverse looking for something a bit more current than subtext discussions on an angelfire messageboard. *cue the "Be More Gay!" song*”Read full review »
