All kinds of surprises
I. Love. This. I found this podcast from their Twitter account, which I discovered via RT of a Season 5 gif. Their org tweet was some info/thoughts that made me re-think my abject hatred for Season 5, & I got curious & followed along. It took a while for me to listen to the actual podcast. I was skeptical at first, having never listened to a TV podcast before (a lot of others, but never TV). I figured, at best, I'd listen to the episodes I liked the most, but - shockingly - I've listened to them all in order, including episodes I can barely remember due to personal hatred (there's only a handful, but still). All 3 co-host's perspectives are thought-provoking & often hilarious. The film perspective, which I have none of & didn't know I was missing, is super interesting. They're also 100% fangirls who do research - & then think about the research (whoa). Love their criticisms as much, if not more, than the fangirling. On a personal level, they're just enjoyable individuals. And...they mananged to almost change my mind about Married with Fishsticks (almost is better than nothing).Read full review »
