Listen now
Description
Ever wondered how to hack your way to more meaningful relationships? In this episode, we are talking with Robin Dreeke, best-selling author, professional speaker, former Head of the FBI and master spy recruiter. Robin’s life mission has been breaking down the art of leadership, communication, and relationships, and building them into 5 steps to trust and 6 steps of who you can trust. Robin is also the founder and president of People Formula LLC, an organization that offers Advanced Rapport Building Training and Consultation. Having made his way through the ranks of the US Marines, Robin quickly realized his path to leadership was going to be a non-linear one. He learned the defining lesson that leadership is more than telling people what to do, but rather using interpersonal skills to inspire action. With this knowledge, he was recruited into the FBI where he became a counterintelligence specialist and recruited Russian spies. His fascination with human behavior eventually led him to run the FBI’s elite Behavioral Analysis Program. He quickly became a Behavioral Analysis Expert, and has written 3 best-selling books and uses his expertise to train others through his online training academy. In today’s episode, we discuss Robin’s journey to the military and eventually the FBI, how humans are hard-wired socially, and the difference between likability and trust. We’ll also talk about Robin’s 6 signs of predicting human behavior and leadership mantras, how to keep our egos in check, and some of the biggest mistakes we make when trying to build new relationships. If you’re looking for a deep understanding of human behavior and how to hack your way to better relationships, you do not want to miss this episode! Sponsored by -  Gusto.
