Love the podcast. Very informative, although I disagree with a couple of things you said. Romeldale and CVM do indeed share the same genetics, as you mentioned, however Romeldale is solid white and CVM is colored. Also, it has been my experience that the staple length for either fleece is...Read full review »

Love this podcast! Very informative and extremely interesting. I’m new to spinning, and really appreciate the knowledge that is brought to each episode, but on a level that interests, rather than intimidates.

I enjoy listening to this podcast even though I've been spinning and knitting for many years. She takes the time to educate us in things that she's learning about her spinning voyage and is not afraid to say "oops" on occasion. Thank you.Read full review »

I'm still early in the episodes, but I'm enjoying this podcast very much. The tone is so relaxed, and I've never had an audio issue. I feel a little out of my league since I don't have much desire for the processing end of things (husband with a wool allergy), but the information...Read full review »

I don't know how she knows, but Yarnspinner always addresses a topic that I am struggling with at the time her podcast comes out! I learn so much from her every single time. Her delivery is excellent, to-the-point and she has a wonderful voice.Read full review »

I am a new spinner and found this podcast and am so enjoying it. I do have to confess that I fast forward her music, not that it is bad, but I have too little time to listen to all my favorite podcasts and want to jump in to all the wonderful info on types of fiber, types of spinning and...Read full review »

This podcast is FAR too good to have escaped review thus far. Relaxing, educational, chock full of fantastic tips for fiber prep, spinning, carding, and so much more. Plus you get the virtual spin-ins complete with pleasantly humming spinning wheel in the background while you get to just kick...Read full review »

This is a very educational podcast while still very nice to listen too. The first ones were a bit difficult in the sound area but they are great now. I often listen more than once to absorb all the spinning information that is given in each podcast.

I agree that the audio in the first few episodes had problems, but if you begin listening after the Christmas episodes, this podcast is wonderful. The information about the various properties and history of the different breeds is terrific if you're a spinner. I know I've found it...Read full review »

This podcast is like having someone right beside you, teaching you how to take care of Angora rabbits, choose fleeces, decide how to process them, and then how to go about the processing. The podcaster alternates between the informational episodes (my favorite) and a spinalong with music and...Read full review »

Like most beginner podcasts, this one went through the learning curve of improvement. Start with the episode after the Christmas music and you will find improved audio. There is still some music always enjoyable and good to spin by.

I was excited to see a spinning podcast on iTunes, but quickly lost my enthusiasm when I started listening. This is a good example of what not to do with your podcast: The sound quality is awful because it's apparently recorderd using the built-in mike on an mp3 player. This may have...Read full review »
