Aha Moment Generator and Empathy
I love that David does a great job at manufacturing Aha moments. I love looking backward at a topic to see that I completely failed to acknowledge that there was an alternative to the way I was thinking. I am also rejuvenated by David’s sense of empathy. This comes up strongly in the episodes on conspiratorial thinking, COVID, etc. He provides a means of understanding the other side without providing legitimacy or correctness, but EMPATHY. I could listen to an entire spinoff podcast series on understanding “the other side” (that doesn’t make judgments or demonize other people).

The content was great and the show is very easy to listen to. I appreciate the calmness of the broadcast. You don't need "exciting" intros and to talk upbeat and loud to be a good show.
