Hey! Thanks for coming back for the new episodes! We're going to be releasing one new show per month now as we go forward to make sure we can keep up with the workload. We hope you enjoy the new stuff - basically same as the old podcast except no five parts, and we just might not stick to just martial arts movies. We'll likely lean heavily on them, but also hit action flicks and other stuff as our interest piques. If you have any favorites you'd like us to cover, leave us a review, hit us up...

I'm not sure if you've ever had the pleasure of viewing JCVD's movie, Double Impact, but man is it worth it. Van Damme as both Chad and Alex Wagner is awesome to the point of damn near changing my pants. THEN add Cory Everson in the mix? Come on, son.... You give me Geoffrey Lewis and toss Bolo Yeung in there, too? My cup runneth over, sir. IT RUNNETH! Come hang with us for a bit while we chat about this fab flick. You won't regret it. Don't really know what do say about this one - I mean, who actually includes "1" in the title of your movie? Like, expectations much? There were (technically) two sequels, only one of which was an actual sequel, but that was the third one. Confused? Yeah, us too. We did have a lot of fun chatting through this flick, though. So have yourself a fun drive or workout and we'll see you on the other side with a few more re-releases before the new episodes start dropping once a month! Please...

Dolph Lundgren and Brandon Lee do the kickin' and punchin' here with an assist from Tia Carrere and Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa (CHT). This is such a fun movie and we had a super fun time talking about it and all the house-exploding, dick-looking, sword-fighting glory that was happening. We hope you have a great workout or drive while you laugh along with us. If you can, please consider subscribing as it really help us get into more people's heads. Plus, it makes you awesome. This had us so excited when we saw the trailer, it was actually a bit embarrassing. We're essentially 50 year old teenagers. But man, while the potential is there, it fell a bit short for us. We still had a blast going through the film, so enjoy our laughing and chatting (and, of course, swearing up a storm, like a couple East Coast fellas are wont to do), and have yourself a great workout or drive to work. Please consider subscribing because it really helps us with numbers and the all...

In the year of our Galdalf, 1993, a little sequel movie came out that furthered a storyline we all came to know and love. That story was the tournament film, Best of the Best. Tommy overcoming his family strife to defeat the feared Tae Kwon Do master, Dae Han in the (oddly titled) World Karate Tournament. It is not as good as the first film. Do listen to our talk-through, however, as we have fun chatting and laughing about all the changes (warranted and not so much) to the storyline and, of...

It's hard to believe 1989 was 35 years ago. Damn...we's old. Aaaaaaaanyway, this movie still holds up and has all the John Woo-isms that we've come to know and love. Doves everywhere, endless ammunition in handguns, Mexican standoffs left and right...it's glorious. If you think so too, then this film review and talk through is for YOU. Consider subscribing to our podcast! It really helps us to get into more people's heads...literally. If you can leave us a 5-star review at iTunes or on Amazon...

Both Chad and I missed this one in 2004 when it came out in theatres because the marketing made it seem a little wacky. Boy, were we wrong. This is a *great* movie and if you haven't seen it for whatever reason, you really should give it a go. We had a really fun time talking through this movie and enjoyed it immensely. Enjoy your drive or workout and have a laugh with us and maybe, just maybe, even shed a little tear. We're secure. For real. It's safe here. Please consider subscribing as it...

In 1984, Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, and Yuen Bao made a movie. Benny "The Jet" Urquidez is in it. If you haven't seen it, you must. That's really all we have to say on that topic. We liked this movie a lot, the fights are tremendous and the stunts are insane. You will for sure enjoy our talk through of this classic flick. Sammo jumps out of a damn fast driving van onto a dirt shoulder! And a van jumps an overpass and damn near crushes a dude! Jeeeeee zuz.... Please consider subscribing once...

Way back in 1972, Bruce Lee gave us Chinese Connection...and it was good. We still watch it to this very day. The story is fun, the fighting is pretty great, and Bruce in disguise is fantastic. Mark Dacascos stars in this movie that capitalized on the capoeira craze that swept the nation in the early 90's (I may have made that "craze" up in my mind). This was 1993 and teenagers everywhere were jengaing and attempting to flip-kick each other around the steamy underbellies of major cities all over North America. Only the Strong was an attempt to get those teens' money. We had a fun time chatting about this film while we watched it. Check out the pod and if you can, please subscribe...

Good hot Lord. This movie. We had high expectations when the trailer came out, but, sadly, the movie did not deliver in the manner we had hoped. Next up on our re-posting of episodes before new drops is Jackie Chan's sort of introduction to North American audiences, Rumble in the Bronx. This movie is essentially a live-action cartoon with stunts that will melt your brain trying to figure out how Chan is still alive. Then you go back and watch some older movies of his and you'll never stop wondering. He's been defying death for a long long long time. Very soon we will release our new episode of Ninja 3: The Domination - look forward to...

Fictionalized version of the life of Ip Man, teacher of Bruce Lee. Donnie Yen is fantastic as the title character leading this film through tons of great fight scenes. This 2009 film takes us again into the world of Silat and Indonesia, this time hero Yuda has to use his "Merantau" or coming of age trip away from his village, to help Astri, a young girl trying to stay away from a human trafficking situation. "Does this episode contain explicit language?" hahahahahahahahahaha! This episode is essentially ALL explicit language. Steven Seagal just brings it out in us. The froth of disinterest just gushes forth, drowning all that go before it. We like Stone Cold Steve, but Seagal is almost quite literally the worst. We can forgive bad movies, we can't forgive abject laziness, stupidity, and disrespect for the audience. If we may...f**k Steven Seagal. But hey! If you like our show and our talk...
