This is my third pregnancy. I completely trusted in the medical system, only to be completely misled into a destructive first pregnancy, which ended in a traumatic C-section despite a healthy Mom and baby. My second, I found a wonderful midwife, who guided me through VBAC and 100% natural birth! Notably, however- were not a family of Faith at that time.
Six years later, being close to 40 and loving the Lord, I just found out we are having our third and I’m SO EXCITED to have found Lori’s podcast to bridge the gap between God’s plan, and what my “gut” was telling me with the second baby! I love that she uses scripture to speak life into the intuition that Moms already have, building confidence despite what (most of the) medical world wants us to believe. Her points are medically sound, common sense, and biblically aligned.
God’s plan IS best! My only regret here is that I did not have this resource available sooner, and that most my friends are done having kids 🤣 I will certainly pass it along to my young cousins, the upcoming mamas in our church!! 🥰 And maybe the new young Moms I meet with my little one when they arrive next year, to encourage for future pregnancies.
