Founded by Stanford professor Patrick Brown in 2011, the Impossible Burger is the plant based alternative meat patty. Brown and his team have set out to change the minds of meat lovers by creating meat directly from plants. Instead of going directly to the consumer, the Impossible Burger was authentically promoted by popular chefs and restaurants. It quickly gained popularity and is now carried in over 1600 restaurants and fast food carriers around the US.
