Raskin & Harris fail to challenge guests
Raskin and Harris are very well informed on social media and big tech issues, but not so much when it comes to political matters. For example, Anthony Leiserowitz was a guest on the 04/22/2020, Changing Our Climate of Denial episode. Leiserowitz made at least 5 false statements during the interview that went unchallenged. The most egregious came 35 min and 45 seconds into the episode. Leiserowitz claimed that traditional media companies such as ABC, NBC, etc. aren't allowed to say anything they want because strict rules prevent them from doing so and that they are duty bound to serve the public interest. What Leiserowitz said here and elsewhere is propaganda. Raskin and Harris remained silent through it all. I send a message to the podcast, but the senior producer didn't seem to be interested. If you have doubts, just listen to the espisode. Similar problems occur in other episodes.Read full review »
