My absolute favourite podcast! I listen on long drives and it makes time fly - engrossing, engaging, warm and soothing. I love everything about the format and Daisy’s genuine passion.y only concern is that my TBR pile will get as big as Yomi’s (that was a standout episode!) Don’t ever change...Read full review »

I absolutely love this podcast. It is a chance to find out what my favourite authors read; a thoughtful look inside what makes a reader and a writer; and also a voyage of discovery into new to me writers and books. Sometimes I know nothing about the guest at the start of the episode but I have...Read full review »

I’m a bookworm so this is the obvious podcast for me. Also an occasionally homesick British exile so I love the accents too.

Brilliant episode with Sara Pascoe and a great podcast all round. Daisy’s voice is also completely gorgeous so worth listening for that reason alone (although the content is also fantastic)!

Listened today for the first time as I walked my dog through Sydney - Good Friday in the midst of corona madness. ‘Hot butter for the soul’ sums it up. Inspiring listening for all book lovers

Just listened to the episode with Jess Phillips and loved the discussion with Jess and Daisy. I shared a lot of their thoughts about the books they talked about. So down to earth. I just know I’m going to love listening to this podcast.

If you adore books and want to discover some different titles or hear interesting perspectives on some classics, you will love this. Daisy has a nice interview style. The theme music is the only thing I don’t like!

I love listening to this podcast, it’s great for book recommendations and it’s generally a comforting listen but Daisy’s constant reactionary ‘mmm’ing is borderline unbearable. Sometimes it actually makes me jump

I am a bit of a Podcast Junkie and mainly listen to the genre of Personal Development and podcasts aimed at Mums & Parenting. Daisy and her guests have reignited my love of reading and all things literacy, which had taken a bit of a back seat throughout my twenties. I was an avid reader as...Read full review »

This was a wonderful little find, I loved the Elizabeth Day and Dolly Alderton episode and it’s wonderful for recommendations and to find out which of your favorite authors has the best lit taste. The music, however, is terribleeeee. The harpsichord is jarring and makes me think I’m watching some...Read full review »

I absolutely love this podcast and look forward to each episode - it offers really accessible, unsnobby discussion of books and writing. I have found it funny and entertaining. The range of books discussed is diverse and my TBR pile is getting ever longer!

Lovely premise, interesting conversation. Could be tighter editing (some rambling, though that makes it fine for only half-paying attention). Please get rid of the jangly transition music - it’s quite jarring!

Such a simple idea and yet so great. Has reinvigorated my love of reading- and made me want to go back and re-read all my favourites!

Lovely podcast with a fantastic feel to it, would love if it could be a little louder because I also love hearing the pages being turned and moving to grab the books off shelves!

Love the podcast, very entertaining and interesting! I just wanted to comment because I found the audio frustratingly quiet! When I was walking to work and a car went past I couldn’t hear it. I wonder if it can be changed for future episodes? I had the volume turned right up.

I just heard of that new podcast and loved the concept right away. I just listened to the first episode and it’s very well done with great questions and I discovered a few books.
