Ambiguous arguments
Sometimes it’s not at all clear what side they’re arguing or what we are “wrong about.” In “Cancel Culture,” for example, they spend 8 1/2 minutes but mention the term only once—never telling us what their position is— which is very strange in a podcast that is supposed to debunk something. There is a lot of complaining about how hurtful bad reviews are but does that mean they are against so-called “cancel culture” or, like me, just against the term.
