I'm not a fan of Podcasts
At all. In general I tend to find that content tends to get repetitive, there are so many covering the same subjects, and so many of them have inexperienced hosts, who have a hard time staying on topic, are inexperienced interviewers, etc. Aside from the occasional Ted Talk, I virtually never listen to them. I fact, I created a folder on my phone that I call Apple Garbage that has the Stocks app, Watch app and Podcasts app, among others, apps that I never use, but that came pre-loaded onto my phone. That all changed a few weeks ago when I was introduced to the Yummie Network Podcast. I am now a Podcast addict and can not wait until the next one comes out! When you guys changed from Thursdays to Mondays, you gave me a reason to not loathe Mondays =) I can't believe the quality of the guests that you guys are able to bring onto the show. I know that Beth was super excited to talk to Lidia Bastianich, but y'all don't even know how crazy fangirl I am over her! I mean, she basically introduced all of the incredible food of Italy to America singlehandedly. And getting to hear her talk so candidly about her life and food and the classes at La Scuola was so much fun! It was such a genuine, natural conversation, I felt like I was part of it! Even when you have guests on that aren't my lifelong idol, I am stil entertained, and even better, learning things that are really applicable to my life. Like when you had Connie Diekman on to explain the new food labeling, I now really understand what I do and don't need to worry about in terms of the foods I eat. I would highly recommend this Podcast to anyone, not just hardcore foodies like myself, but anyone that eats, so everyone!

I loved the Netflix series "Chef's Table" and this is similar but more appealing. It's not just about fancy chefs or expensive restaurants. It actually talks all about the food industry - and is interesting even for non-foodies!!!

This is a new Podcast and I'm not really a 'Foodie' but it intrigued me and I really liked it. They have many guests, so there is a lot of variety. I enjoyed the Tyler Florence interview on restaurant business, marketing, and mentorship. Excited to learn more about food and wine. 😋
