Description
Social media dominates how the world consumes its information these days and so what better topic is there to put through its paces with the help of three more superstars from within the IOH membership (And one actual employee of the IOH itself). For this broad subject, Phil was joined by Joshua Wilson AIH, Kim Bailey MIH and Harry Murray FIH. As well as learning why all our guests said #Imin to the IOH we got through some of the good and the bad of social as well as learning one of the best pieces of trolling ever received by Phil. Some of the good points raised were, it can Develop & promote a brand, instant connection with your customers, you can build communities, build connections and it can be a place of comfort for introverts.   Some of the bad points were that it can place an unrealistic pursuit of non-existent perfection, can lead to gratification addiction, Push Notifications are evil, can lead to loss of social capability, scamming and spamming and of course online bullying, a sad reality for many on social media. Despite some doom, this is a wonderfully upbeat conversation with some great perspectives from the guests. A huge thank you to our guests who absolutely brought the passion. Enjoy!
