This podcast is not nearly as polished and professional as their Piketon Massacre podcast. Levels are all over the place—volume and quality of sound vary for virtually every speaker. Courtney has a pleasing voice, but she pops her p’s. This seems like a microphone issue, which is weird...Read full review »

I am obsessed with this podcast! So well produced and I have ever heard any of these stories before! So good. When can we get more!!!??

This is an easy listen with a quick summary of some of your fave true crime “love” stories. There are, as many say, way too many ads. Also, I love the women’s investigation facts and how they present them but I feel Jeff is out of place… he sounds almost unsure or as though he always speaks in a...Read full review »

I would love to listen to this podcast but cannot deal with the sound leveling issues anymore. The intros are great, then when the guests or experts speak the volume gets very low so I have to turn volume all the way up and suddenly the intro lady is back or a commercial and the sound is blasting...Read full review »

I’m addicted to true crime shows. This show is great! Unbelievable stories! Great hosts! Great guest speakers! I haven’t stop listening since I found it!

Sorry, maybe the show gets better later on, but you lost me in the first episode when you referenced and mispronounced “phenergan” as cold medicine. Overall poorly produced, sound like a bunch of friends gossiping over zoom.

I truly love this group together and think they make a fantastic team. Please keep up the good work!

Great podcast!! But too many ads, especially the ones where they try and play it off like it’s not an ad. All podcasts have ads but this one has a lot. Especially if you’re binging and listening to the same ads over and over. I’d you’re going to have that many, at least get a variety. It just...Read full review »

I love not only the cases covered, but the people covering it. Every week they add new people close to the case covering it and it is very informative. I’ve heard the cases covered on other podcasts, but this one adds new information. I love it!

These two ladies tell a true crime story like no others. Some of the crimes I’ve heard before but they are able to add something new or tell it in a different way. They are always respectful to the victim and their humor is much appreciated especially on the more difficult cases to listen to. ...Read full review »

Pretty good stories, but I have to adjust my volume every time there is a new speaker. Weird that the sound quality is so poor for a widely produced show.

So I’m a true crime addict, and I’ve heard practically all of these cases on other podcasts, so I almost unsubscribed. But I kept listening because there were new details about each case that i hadn’t heard in other podcasts, and I really liked hearing about the cases from the perspectives of the...Read full review »

First, I freaking LOVE Courtney’s voice. Second, I enjoy the stories & some conversations- I wish the episodes were longer, or put out two episodes a week. I feel like KT studios can do a better job with the sound quality. I enjoy listening to the guests (when I can hear them). Love Piketon...Read full review »

Stop saying “shameless plug”- it’s cringy and unnecessary, especially the way she says it.

Story - volume 3 Ads - volume 12 Outside of that, this is a detailed and well told crime podcast. Unfortunately, unable to listen to this to relax before bed because the ad volume is so high and so frequent.

I listen to many podcasts, some are dedicated to one case for the entire series. Although I love that like the Piketon Massacre, but it’s nice to hear a short story. I like that I get to hear a variety of stories in a short timeframe.

I keep listening because the stories are pretty interesting, but the expert knowledge is quite basic (especially if you’re into true crime) and stories aren’t very in depth in terms of the actual investigations - for example, crime junkie is way more thorough. The hosts also have some pretty...Read full review »

A bunch of so called “experts” sitting around making stupid comments and annoying commentary about the crime. Very little of the podcast is about the facts, most of it is these people making observations based on..... nothing

I do really like this show but it feels like half of the episode is just ads. I understand they need to make money but either make the episode longer or make the ads shorter.
alexist45 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/19/22
Love when Courtney comes on but the guests 👎The sound quality is not great. It is confusing to keep track of the different hosts. One of the hosts asks obvious questions. Additionally, they also mention a lot of stereotypes as fact.
949KitKat via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/12/22
I do really enjoy listening to this show. It is actually nice to have some shorter episodes as a lot of true crime can be quite lengthy. The reason I left out a star is sometimes the narrators seem like they are seeing who can talk the fastest. Slow down a little please.
teadtbear via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/08/22
I am such a fan the storytelling, the dialogue, the versatility of the panels, and the structure of the show. The only downside is I’m all caught up! Lol! Keep it coming!!
✨Jaz via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/02/22
The people talking about the cases seem clueless. One had never heard of breast implant serial numbers being used to identify people. 😖 This is not a podcast that needs to exist.
JLK100 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/25/22
If you came to hear this podcast via Piketon, as I did , it is not thx same quality. I am greatly disappointed. Hope they step it up. Production of Piketon is first quality for True Crime genre.

I LOVE true crime podcasts and will give anyone a go. I wanted to love Crazy in Love, after listening to the Piketon Massacre by the same hosts. Unfortunately this podcast doesn’t deliver the same cadence of story telling or quality in sound.
spiceCWIENER via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 06/15/22
Love the show and the content. The variety of different guests keeps it interesting. The episodes could be a bit longer and maybe a little more detail. Also, the editing of the narrator’s voice could be better. The “P Popping” can be a bit cringy. Overall, great show

I thought this podcast was OK until listening to the episode where the podcasters were AMAZED by the coroner’s ingenuity using the breast implants to identify a body. They could not get over how insightful that coroner was. That’s a pretty standard tool that they have for identifying bodies… 🤦‍♀️...Read full review »

Good podcast, nice short and to the point episodes! One complaint, Latvia is its own Country! Not part of Russia. I learn so much from discussion type podcasts. Thank u! So glad you invited Paul’s n Melanie on this one! I just wanted to say I lived the natural born killer analogy. Your opinions on why the girl ask the cop to get her meds and he found the casings, are so immature and unlearned. Maybe consider that anxiety is so bad she just needed those meds.
