Produced with pride and passion
The story of the perilous moments that elapsed as the Eagle lander made its descent to the lunar surface in July 1969 is thoughtfully and accessibly conveyed, interspersed with illuminating interviews from former NASA personnel. You can tell that the producers of this podcast take an immense pride in the level of detail they've been able to include. The epic theme music by Hans Zimmer is simply the icing on the cake.Read full review »

More reviews of 13 Minutes to the Moon
I really enjoyed the first episode. I was born in 1969 and grew up in the wake of the first Mon landing. I know about the Kennedy 1962 speech, Sputnik, the 1202 alarm etc. but this episode filled in lots of gaps and especially the influence of Wernher von Braun.
