CBC is actively funding this nonsense with leveraged taxpayer money, snd then has the audacity to create fake reviews too. 1984 much?

It sounds so funny to hear that back in 2015, Vancouver thought it would be the Greenest City in the World by 2020!! Singapore has long since surpassed most other world cities and had a lot more ‘green’ infrastructure in place before the idea of “Greenest City” ever occurred to anyone. But you...Read full review »

I loved this....I knew climate change was happening and I continue to go out of my to make small personal adjustments, but the way this was presented....very realistic. I loved when the little girl was woken up and presented with how her day would be laid out and all the changes related to...Read full review »

Thank you for this podcast. Well researched, expertly presented and easy to understand for the everyday person. A must listen by ALL Canadians. The effects of climate change will certainly be different in different areas of the country but just as devastating if we close our eyes and leave the...Read full review »

An incredibly well researched show that takes British Columbians into our not too distant future, taking a hard look at climate change and what that means for us. It’s not just longer summers. It’s not just more forest fires. Stop everything you are doing and listen. And act. And change.

I'm am so struck by the high quality of this podcast, and the research, development, planning, writing, and creativity that obviously went into it. I made my own children listen to it. Next school year I will make my high school math classes listen to it. I will also consistently recommend it...Read full review »

Good host who presents her subject very well. Yes, the situation is alarming, but there is no panic in her voice. Everyone should listen to this, whether or not they live in Vancouver.

Who really wants to be in a position of power when the SHTF. I understand from the podcast that we need to prepare, dust off the scouting manuals, learn to hunt and build shelters, fires etc. There will be little outside support to your community so make sure your community can stand alone in...Read full review »

2050 combines science with everyday life to depict life in 2050 in British Columbia. Not at all sensationalist but still scary - because the facts speak loudly - even with conservative estimates of temperature increases.

Informative, captivating and well produced!!

I liked the content and how it was presented. It depicted both the natural sciences and the social issues. The idea that an AI voice assistant would control every part of your life was also amusing :) whoever makes that secure will be a multi-billionaire over the next 33 years... One minor issue...Read full review »

An interesting deep dive into a possible future climate change scenario focused on British Columbia. As a Seattle resident this both expanded my thinking on how a tepid global response might play out. This well produced and well researched podcast left me both terrified and hopeful about the road...Read full review »

You don't have to live in British Columbia to find this podcast incredibly informative, sobering, and even inspiring. It really gives you context for a lot of information without the emotion (fear) normally associated with climate change coverage, giving you the space to think critically...Read full review »

One of the best podcasts about climate change ever. While I would be more pessimistic I think it is important to explain all the different ways climate change will affect our lives from the economic cost, to the risk of war, to how it will affect agriculture etc. The idea being to explain that...Read full review »

This is a top quality discussion on science and social issues related to climate change. All young people deserve to hear this in school time and to talk further about what it will mean in their lives. Although it is primarily a BC oriented talk, the message is much broader and could be of value...Read full review »

This was an excellent podcast! A very thorough, yet not too detailed, exploration of what human-caused climate change is doing and will do over the coming half-century. Great job in producing this!
