“I loved this podcast.
First-it makes a big difference when a trained broadcast journalist tells a story. I am pretty forgiving of all the print journalists because I listen to the content, which is extremely well written, but it really sets apart listening to a broadcast journalist telling a story. What can I say? Whatever class they take that teaches them how to tell a story, they have that nailed.
Second- it’s truly a heroic story of first responders and law enforcement working together without messing up a crime scene. It shows it is possible (not ALWAYS) but contrast this story to the many stories of law enforcement screwing up. That doesn’t happen here. And it’s impressive and exciting to hear about investigators doing a good job and interesting to hear how a trial unfolds with so much evidence. It gave me a real sense of gratitude for skill and professionalism that goes into solving a case. Listening to the evidence, (a LOT), it’s Amazing that the case went to trial. Also amazing that it’s being appealed.
Third-not to diminish the tragedy but the story is CRAZY. It’s scary and deranged and just a good reminder that some people are capable of the worst stuff.”
