The podcasts are really interesting! I recently wrote to Heil tech service with a question about impedance matching for a Heil mic and an old Kenwood boat anchor and I got a response from Bob Heil. I thought, is that ‘the’ Bob Heil and it sure as hell was. This guy is amazing!

A bunch of great stories of Bob’s days on the road setting up the sound for some of the iconic bands of the 70’s. Those looking for stories about the bands themselves might be disappointed as Bob focuses mostly on the gear and audio requirements of the bands. Mark @Meniscus_Audio

If the first few episodes are any indication, Bob is taking his passion for Rock n’ Roll to the main stage! It only makes sense that the namesake for the podcasting community’s go-to microphone would start a podcast that kicks butt! A great podcast hosted by a passionate host. There are two types of people that should listen to this show...those who know who Bob is (and are therefore excited to hear these "tales from behind the curtain"), and those who don't know who Bob is (but will be EXTREMELY glad they found out after hearing just an episode or two).
