“Only 20 episodes in, I have decided to cancel the painters and just paint my house myself with a small brush so I can spend hours and hours listening to this podcast. It is astoundingly good. Words cannot describe how far and away this is better than all other rock and roll history podcasts, some of which I enjoy. This, however, is like driving Ferrari after spending all your time in a 2003 Toyota Corolla. Incredibly well-researched (sometimes you swear he has a time machine) with lengthy excerpts of virtually EVERY song mentioned. This allows you to "see" with your ears how rock and roll developed. This is so much interesting detail, you can easily imagine listening to the whole series all over again because you know you will learn that much more. Now and probably forever this will be THE definitive history of rock and roll. What a gift Andrew Hickey is providing us. I wish you good health and much support, sir.”Read full review »
