This is a great cast for music geeks like myself. It's extremely well researched and is clearly a labour of love. If you think you know about the history of rock, listen to Andrew Hickey’s podcast. You will undoubtedly learn something new with each episode. Of course, Hickey covers the obvious songs like Johnny B. Goode and Heartbreak Hotel but there also gems on more obscure songs like You Better Move On...Read full review »

Extensively researched, each episode thoroughly explores each song. No snowflake, as another listener alleges, the presenter manages to capture the spirit of the times, while also providing a 21st century perspective for younger listeners. This deserves a place in the British Library.
