Entertaining and educating
Taking the format of the HP Lovecraft literary podcast the presenters run through the plot of each story, exhaustively discussing along the way influences, references and related work. I have read James' work several times, but I've certainly learnt a lot from the few episodes I've heard. Its also great fun. More like this please!Read full review »

I’m new to the podcast and even though they’ve gone through all the M R James stories they can cover, the podcast is still going strong! loved the ‘Signalman’ and Moor Road’ episodes. keep up the good work. More Flaxman Low!!

What a labour of love delving into the themes, characters, locations, spin offs etc of MR James’s stories. Rekindled my love of the old ghost stories of James and his contemporaries.
