Easy, fun and informative
As explained in the title, this podcast is an excellent example of a fun and informative way of learning about the pivotal points in Japans history. Mr Fosters keeps things interesting with varied concepts and themes, from Shinto to Tsunami's, he also includes a few anecdotes and jokes that keeps things interesting. If you are interested in Japanese culture, look no further.

Fantastic podcasts! I am in sort of Aussie Otaku heaven listening to a witty Aussie teacher elaborating on a subject I dearly wish to know more about and making it understandable in my own dialect ( or is it a patois?) Anyhow thanks heaps, top drawer!
