Definitely It's Own Little Island
I tune in for the analysis because the knowledge of the hosts and guests are very often a cut above the rest; that said, most episodes are essentialy giant, high-pressure verbal fire hoses of deep, deep analysis of very dense topics, each presented with absolutely no consideration whatsoever for the listener. No offense guys, but have you ever considered hiring a professional media/podcast producer? Because seriously, why is it okay to NEVER have a break throughout the entire episode? And yes, Sonal, we all know that you are intellectually (and even verbally) well-endowed, but your high-velocity speech/presentation style requires your listeners to "mainline" your content like some kind of junk hooked on smack! Don't get me wrong, you are THE main reason I tune in; your sharp wit, quick mind and verbally-toned and taught articulatory muscles are, well, AMAZING! But please, consider pushing the needle's plunger a smidge slower, and structure the podcast to include a short musical break between major shifts in topicical themes. (I'm just sayin')... A16Z covers a wide variety of topics in innovation and technology and has great interviews with executives and book authors in the space.
