Love the work and passion put into this by telling REAL stories about Korean American adoptees. There is something to learn and love about with each episode and can’t wait to listen to it all and for more to come! Great work

I’ve been listening to Adapted for over two years and it has been a welcome friend during my own adoption journey. I find solace in hearing unique but familiar experiences, and feel encouraged that so many adoptees are sharing their experiences.

It has been very educational to listen and learn from this podcast. I grew up with several Korean adoptees and other transracial adoptees and am currently friends with several Korean adoptees. One of those friends recommended I listen to this podcast. The stories have been very eye opening for me...Read full review »

Different aspects of the adoption stories resonated with me as a fellow KAD. I love the series that allowed each adoptee to his/her individuality. Each story was truly touching and raw emotion. Thank you for highlighting the good, the bad, and everything in between of transracial adoptions.

Listening to these stories made me aware, informed, & empathic about adoptees, struggles, & their resilience.

I am neither Asian nor adopted and I have learned so much from this podcast. It is always interesting and has certainly updated my views about adoption in general and transracial and transnational adoption. I highly recommend it.

I’ve been listening to Adapted for a while now and am beyond happy that this important work continues. I’m a Korean adoptee like those Kaomi interviews and features on Adapted. Growing up, there were very few Asian perspectives and voices that were accessible to me as mirrors or guides to my...Read full review »

as an adoptee its super cool to hear a lotta different perspectives and stories because all interviewees have a different story and perspective. each episode is really well done and strikes the perfect balance between informative and emotional.

Anyone adopted has a story to tell that challenges preconceived ideas around what family is. And how nurture vs nature impacts each individual so differently throughout their lifetime. Kaomi is an incredible interviewer and each person has an emotional and incredibly insightful story shared here!

A series of engaging conversations that shine a lot on a topic many people may not have thought a lot about: overeseas adoptions and the impact they have on the life and cultueral identiy of the adoptees... but also just good storytelling.
