In today's episode of Akhanda Bharat; Saniya tells us interesting stories about Vishnu, the all-pervading deity, also known as the preserver in the triad of Bramha, Vishnu and Shiva. The word Vishnu literally means “one who can fly”. Vishnu combines many lesser divine figures and local heroes, chiefly through his avatars. A complex character, Vishnu is the Preserver and guardian of men (Narayana), he protects the order of things (dharma) and, when necessary, he appears on earth in various incarnations or avatars to fight demons and fierce creatures and so maintain cosmic harmony.
