Brilliant Writing Discussions
Holly and Rebecca bring together a comfortable, welcoming partnership where their mother daughter relationship and shared love for writing just works. It's quirky, fun, and down to earth conversations about the professional pursuit of writing. You'll receive insights for your own writing efforts, learn that you are really, truly not alone in the struggles and insanity of pursuing this profession, and receive confirmations of your own experiences. They cover everything from world building (and how not to sink into its endless depths) to characters and why you will have love/hate relationships with them. Some recordings are an hour and others are 30 minutes. All of them give you something to think about and nod your head to in agreement. They’ll even offer up activities to try like Flash fiction. It’s an excellent podcast. Well worth a gander.Read full review »

Great friendly show, lots of information and generous sharing of techniques. Try the Halloween episodes for examples of what people who listen have written. Exceptional example of the community they build and the work they put in, and a shout of thanks to voice actor Mark who helps out!

I love their perspectives, they have a lot of combined knowledge and guidance. When I can’t write I want to listen to this podcast and since listening I’ve been writing tones more and feel so inspired!
