Is the most humane true crime podcast out there. Most of the episodes brought tears to my eyes. Anna-Sigga and Scott are the best .

Often includes interviews with the LE investigators, and sometimes victim families. Follows both the investigation and the journey of the victims and families. The hosts bring their own past experiences and expertise to add perspective to the case. Not just a summary of articles & books...Read full review »

I can’t praise this podcast more. All the episodes are the perfect length of time, around 45 minutes, and the hosts compliment each other so well. They’re both extremely knowledgeable in their former fields and it’s really neat to hear how the crimes are interpreted from a legal and investigative...Read full review »

I absolutely adore this podcast! As a criminal defense attorney it is so interesting to see the way the prosecutor, investigators, and media see a case! Always well done.

Do not support this podcast. This podcast is hosted by a CORRUPT former NY prosecutor who intentionally misrepresented and fabricated evidence, withheld or ignored potentially exonerating evidence, and continuously subverted true justice in order to advance her own career. She put INNOCENT people...Read full review »

10/10 the best true crime podcast. The hosts are knowledgeable and stick to facts. They use their career experience to break down how an investigation might go or to shed light on why investigators may have made the choices they did. My favorite podcast!

I’m only on the first few episodes, and already not liking the doomcasting. “Imagine how frightened she must have been! Her kids were just twenty feet from that door! Imagine what must have been going through her head…” The biggest mistake a podcaster can make in this genre is over-speculating. I...Read full review »

This is such a well produced podcast. I hesitate to listen because of the continual ad interruptions. I think it is over sponsored for the length of the show.

This is my favorite FAVORITE true crime podcast. They are both so good at telling the story and really tell the meaning of the story. The fact they both worked in law really helps the story, I love hearing both of their sides and takes on the stories. I can’t get enough of this podcast!

The podcast itself isn’t that informative and I find myself having to look up major information that was left out. As they are previous law enforcement professionals, it isn’t surprising that they excuse the problematic behaviour of their law enforcement colleagues. And it also isn’t surprising,...Read full review »

This is what a “True Crime” podcast should sound like. The way they dissect law from opinion is flawless. Great work!

Absolutely best true crime podcast to date. The voices and information flows well, it’s minimal random mumbo-jumbo or distracting info. It keeps the focus and does an Amazing job at sharing these stories

Thank you both for your latest episodes on Claudia Maupin and Oliver Northrop. I listen to a lot of true crime pods but only a few cases stay with me and this is one of them. I listen to A LOT of true crime and this podcast is one of the best. I love that their main focus is the victim(s) rather than the perpetrator(s). Too many other pods seem to glorify perpetrator(s) and make a joke out of horrific crimes. Keep doing what you’re doing AOM.

I enjoy the approach and they have great voices. But sometimes it seems they are just playing old interrogation interviews and it’s so hard to hear that it doesn’t make it worth it.

Anna and Scott do such an amazing job telling the story for the victims not the killer or killers. Very well put together and very compassionate.

Addictive listening, but how many times does the host Anna have to say ‘(just) think about it’?

I can no longer ignore the racially tone-deaf dialogue of these episodes. It is very clear this is told from a white persons perspective and it’s embarrassing. Great stories and interviews, but it’s starting to get too touchy feely and emotional like most of what Ashley Flowers touches. I loved Crime Junkie but like a lot of people I walked away from it. So much good but eventually way too much other..”stuff.”

It was a really hard pill to swallow knowing that the proven plagiarist Ashley Flowers was involved with the show, but since she wasn’t on the show I continued to listen for years.
