“I'm not an Ancient Greece junkie. I love history, but I studied the American west and art. I hated philosophy class in college, and reading Socrates always made me fall asleep. In the middle class. But this podacast is SO fascinating and I love listneing! It's great - the host has a fab listening voice and the people he interviews are experts about the topics, so I know I can relax and take what they're saying at fact. Host takes questions and suggestions from ancient Greek lay-folk, such as myself, and this draws you in. He does a good job of wrapping up the discussions into modern thought and making the topics relevant. I always get super into each episode, and I never would have given any attention to, say, ancient Grecian theater, for instance. I espeically like listening to this on road trips. I also like that it provides a way for me to learn about a topic I never would have otherwise. Who knew Ancient Greece was SO influential in our modern day lives? Listen to this Podcast.
