Quick, practical, and low-cringe
I’ve listened to a stack of audio books and a handful of podcasts about anger management and I’ve hated almost all of them. (The best book on the topic I read is, Why We Get Mad by Dr Ryan Martin.) This podcast is by far better than 99% of the anger management stuff out there. The “lessons” are short, concise, and best of all, practical, offering immediate strategies to controlling negative emotional reactivity. Also, compared to most other sources, this podcast doesn’t make me uncomfortable with vulgar re-enactments of angry exchanges. This is like an anger management podcast for adults. The only aspect I can see being regarded as a minor annoyance is that this podcast also serves as an advertisement for the Doctor’s online course. Totally worth it though.
