Came for Emily, stayed for the Shakespeare
I’m not much of a true crime fan beyond S-Town, but I love how this spoofs the tropes while still telling a story seriously - more Scream than Scary Movie I love the central relationship and Andy Wheyface is so fantastic and I’m glad he’s not just an antagonist I particularly like the Shakespeare references, some obvious and some a bit more buried - Bea referencing ‘I’d eat his heart in the marketplace’ was a joy I hope this series continues and I get to enjoy some even deeper Shakespeare cuts - I can’t wait to listen to a series based on Timon of Athens in 2031 xxx

More reviews of Arden
Arden is fantastic, it kept me highly entertained and on the edge of my seat till the very end; I can’t wait for Season 2! The entire cast did a marvelous job; Brenda’s assistant is my favorite.

I like this a lot! A satire with a lot of laughs but a solid heart.

I don’t normally review podcasts but felt the need to give one here. This podcast is so fake sounding and super scripted. Nothing in the audio gives the listener any sense of authenticity. Don’t waste your time.
