Fantastic, fun & informative. As a long time soundtrack fan but lacking musical theory (or talent ) these podcasts have expanded my appreciation of some of my favourite scores. The ability of the guys to illustrate musical ideas & techniques in the scores as they discuss them makes the ideas & motifs that go into the music clear in a way a book could never achieve. I came in via the discussion of one of my favourites, "Conan the Barbarian' but rapidly devoured the rest. Looking forward to many more!Read full review »

This is such a fun podcast. The hosts are obviously incredibly knowledgable on the subject of film scores, and their natural humour and passion for the subject is contageous! I love how they play clips from the scores and analyze them at the piano. I look forward to every episode. Well done guys!
