A little life - afterthought
When I was listening to the episode about 'A Little Life' and the hosts were discussing how they felt about the book, I couldn't help but feel like that was how the characters felt towards Jude... "I was miserable but I kept coming back", "I was hooked, I kept crying but couldn't stop reading" & "I can't remember the last time I had such a complicated relationship" "I didn't enjoy the company of this book at all, but for some reason I couldn't wait to come home to it".
