Sounds like you’re on a game show, rushing through a bad joke to get to the punch line. Good content though!

Thank you for bringing these stories onto a platform for many to access, many stories I’ve never heard before and those that I have, I’m now more educated on. I can really appreciate the compassion that these stories are told with. And like others, love the Narelle Fraser episodes.

I’ve been listening to this podcast from commencement and I always look forward to the next ep. I’m very interested in Emily’s thoughts as a writer of crime and Meshel’s ability to play devils advocate, both make me think. I am also very glad to hear the acknowledgment of country at the start and...Read full review »

Just listened to ep 165 it’s was very hard to get through, I appreciate the way you acknowledge the victims and made the comparison to other victims of similar crimes. This whole saga was just a horrible blight on Victoria’s history, badly handled by our justice system and the pathetic media of...Read full review »

A long time true podcast listener here. I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to listen to ATC, especially considering I’m an Aussie and huge Meshel Laurie fan, have I been living under a rock? I have just signed up as a Patreon. Loving the content. Narelle Fraser is amazing, keep her coming....Read full review »

Just heard #106, after/while binging on the entire catalogue and having spent 8 weeks in Australia with my grandfather 12 years ago, I appreciate the new introduction paying respect the first people there. Really enjoy this podcast, I love the episodes when you guys chat with Narelle. Keep up the god work ladies. I’ve also found other great podcasts on your recommendation 👌🏼

Am slowly getting through all the episodes one by one & have almost caught up! They make my drive through traffic each day bearable. Sooo interesting and a great variety of stories, all delivered differently. Best podcast out there!
sez01010 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 06/17/20
Meshel is the most basic, boring, never-questioning-her-privilege host I’ve had the displeasure of listening to. Victims deserve better than to have their deaths sensationalised and their killers glorified for podcast ad revenue by an insensitive and disrespectful host.
stevie_fan via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 06/15/20
This podcast features many good guests and is a good resource, I would definitely recommend. However I would suggest that each episode be checked over before publishing, sometimes audio clips are missing or messed up. Also please do not use loud BEEEEEPS when censoring a name etc, it’s really...Read full review »

From the lack of a consistent theme, the unnecessary inclusion of respect to Indigenous Australians (virtue signalling much?), the low-key and subsequently uninteresting narration, the lack of scripting, the excuse for poor editing (we will leave it up to the family to tell their story) and all...Read full review »

What starts a great novel or short story can be the intro. Meshel’s intros are just nearly frustrating enough not to begin the podcast. Drag the pointer away from her disjointed, annoying and political intro, you can get a good 30-40 mins of good true crime podcast.

Interesting. Needs a lot of work, could be a lot better with a few changes. No attention to detail, boadering on unprofessional, e.g. Very poor editing, several minutes silence, ads in mid sentence instead of at the 'break', 'bloopers' not removed, and full of mispronunciations of...Read full review »

Thank you Janelle for telling your story. You truly are an inspiration. All over women are silence, to hear you speak your story in your own words was very powerful. Thank you Meshel and Emily for your sensitivity and not editing Janelle’s story.

Was a huge fan but not quite sure any longer. Not sure having Narelle’s interviews to be of much interest. I find her questioning is not so sophisticated, she’s reading frim a script and sometimes gets things wrong. I’m sorry.

I really like most of this podcast but I feel the same as Bschora. I get really frustrated at the empathy for the criminals and the lack of time they have to service for their crimes. What about the victims???????? My 5 stars is for her

Gave it my best shot. The Granny Killers made me realize I can’t listen to this stuff when the youth penal system is so co-dependent. I get the same feeling listening to Nordic True Crime.
