I’ve listened to 4 or 5 episodes and I’m trying to give this person the benefit of the doubt but something feels disingenuous and I can’t shake that feeling. She keeps talking about “getting her diagnosis” as though it was like winning some kind of trophy that she had to work really hard and...Read full review »

I so appreciate the host and all she shares about her ASD experience. There are not enough resources and content for women on the spectrum. Everything she shares is so relatable and makes this autistic woman feel less alone in an NT world. Thank you for your work and keep it up despite nay sayers!!

I stumbled across this while looking for podcasts on autism. I’m a 43-year-old female, and have recently come to the realization that I’m quite probably autistic (not diagnosed). I started at the beginning and with every episode, something has made me go, “oh, me too!” It’s like I’m talking to a...Read full review »

Ep 123 was fabulous. I felt it was all about your identity. It makes me want to ‘come out’ as an autistic woman. It really is who I genuinely am so why not be proud of it.

I don’t have autism, but I am ADHD/ADD and queer and I HIGHLY recommend this to any autistics out there. You are doing a great job <33

I’m autistic and I no longer feel alone. Lots of people understand. This just says that the world is not a perfect place

I don't know anyone else with high-functioning autism, which means that many times I don't know if it is me or my autism that is the reason why my life looks the way it does. This podcast makes me feel less alone and that I'm not a failure in the social world.Read full review »

I am really enjoying this pod cast, I’m 35 and have only just realised I’m autistic after finding it within all three of my children, we each present slightly differently and have our own ways and particularities.. it makes for a very busy household. My partner too has adhd and I hate phone...Read full review »

This Podcast is truly wonderful and I don’t know what I would do without it. It is honest and vulnerable in the deepest sense. You talk as if you know exactly how my brain works! I especially love your “life update” episodes. Thanks for sharing everything with us. 🙂

i’ve found that people who i try to befriend are often annoyed with the way that i start to get clingy very early on in the friendship and i suspect that it’s part of the reason why i’ve been through a string of best friends at age 15 already and not a lot of people want to have deep...Read full review »

I’m only on ep 4, and about a week and a bit into accepting that it is most likely actually autism. You are me. I am you. This is just the most validating thing I think I’ve ever heard. Thank you!

This podcast is SO HELPFUL to me. I’ve found imitating the behavior (literally recording voice memos to process, but I’m not brave enough to share mine) to be an incredibly valuable tool when I need to process things.

I just started listening yesterday and I’m obsessed. It’s like listening to my own thoughts being said out loud (which Melissa also said she feels more validity and organization of thoughts in saying stuff out loud….girl same). It’s scary how alike we are. But it’s so reassuring to hear that my...Read full review »

I have been perusing through ASD podcasts and have had the occasional “hey, that’s me”. This is the first one where everything she says is exactly how my brain works.

This is the first thing I’m listening to after starting to wonder if I’m autistic and I can’t believe how much I relate to this woman who is 8 years older than me, living in a different country. I just started listening, but I’ve been really enjoying it. I totally agree about As We See It! I only made it through the first episode. As a woman in my 40’s who has recently started going down the rabbit hole of autism research and questioning whether I am autistic- this podcast has been a very welcome find! This was the first podcast I listened to in my own research as I wait for my assessment. This has further clarified for me how intense my (lack of) social reciprocity has been all my...Read full review »

Ironically, I’ve chosen to write this review when I’m out of words at the moment. Please just know that if you are autistic/suspected autistic (especially women) or have kids in this category… Just listen. Just absorb. This show is so worth it!!! ❤️

I love this podcast! I found out just last year (at age 56) that I am autistic. I did get a formal diagnosis( from GRASP also). So much of what Melissa says is relatable for me. If you only listen to one autistic creator, I recommend this one!

Refreshingly authentic and honest. Non-Clincal. Non-othering. Just an open minded and open eyed exploration of what it is to discover Autism as an adult -- and rediscover yourself in the process.
