The best books podcast around - extraordinary!
The brilliance of Backlisted in comparison to other books podcasts is its range. The hosts John and Andy are enthusiastic, intelligent, articulate, passionate, informed and, above all, funny; the guests are eclectic and so are they books they discuss. I wish more people would talk about books like this! There is none of the stuffiness of the broadsheet books pages or the seminar room and little evidence of corporate shilling as on so many book podcasts. Instead what you get is people who know what they're talking about, talking about books with wit, erudition and affection. Wonderful.Read full review »
