“Battleship Pretension is an informative show about movies; loose but well-reasoned, high-brow but never stuffy. Hosts Tyler Smith and David Bax are the Mutt N Jeff of movie podcasts--they work well well together, each adding something so BP is greater than the sum of its parts. They also have a regular line-up of guests who are almost always entertaining and in some cases enlightening.
The show is also very conscientious to its fans; they've out up a new episode every single week for years. As a listener to many a podcast, I really appreciate that kind of consistency.”Read full review »
