Started off interesting, but turned political
This podcast had a whiff of possibly being political from the jump. Let me establish that I am a-political. And one thing I have noticed as an outsider to politics is that both sides have their own version of lore that they drum over and over. Republicans drum the child trafficking lore (of course it's a scourge, but they also make a lot of unsubstantiated claims.) Leftists in turn harp on Pizzagate and create this whole version of what happened there, into a parody, replete with their trademark mocking disgust. So, knowing that podcasts are leftist territory, for the most part, I was vaguely aware that this topic coule take a turn toward propaganda and bias, but was open to the idea that it wasn't, as well. In episodes 1-4, I did notice some odd biases from the narrator, but brushed it off as her perogative. But episode 5 reveals the agenda: Pizzagate, Donald Trump and "conspiracy theorists." You can't make up how predictable these TDS leftists have become. It's embarassing, frankly.Read full review »
