Going all in or having safe foods? Bulimia & Binge Eating Recovery
Listen now
Description
All in works for some people. Having “bridge” safe foods works for others. Sometimes it’s a combo of both. Today’s podcast episode covers what I did, what I see people do, and ideas that aren’t one or the other. In short - I had bridge-safety foods I ate daily that I knew I wouldn’t binge on. I didn’t keep binge foods in the house like bags of chips, cereal, or large tubs of ice cream. This allowed me to build trust and abundance with food which eventually allowed me to have more of these more “dangerous” foods in my life without binging over time. The caveat: I was no longer at the stage where I was binging on whatever was in the house. You know that phase of binging where it doesn’t matter what the food is, you’ll binge on anything even if it’s raw chia seeds and dried oats (not that I know from experience 👀) - yes I was no longer there. If you are in that stage I also address that in the episode.   For more information on private coaching, group coaching, free resources, & more go to https://www.bingebreakers.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bingebreakers_bulimia/   DISCLAIMER   This recording is not nor is intended to be utilized as medical advice or a medical diagnosis.
