The most delightfully off-beat and weirdly insightful film podcasts around
Been listening to the Griffin & Dave Presents saga since the first episode of their Phantom Menace podcast and listen to it as soon as I can. Even when they analyze a film I haven't seen and have no interest in seeing (e.g. The Judge) I still wind up laughing incredibly hard leading to increasingly bitter states from everyone around me on Metro North. Griffin's enthusiasm, stories and willingness to potentially sabotage his career for a joke really carry the podcast well while David's more understated tone complement each other really nicely. The sense of humor on this podcast is sincere and witty, it's not mean spirited like other podcasts that analyze more polarizing types of films. It's not one of those podcasts with a bunch of jerks making obvious jokes, the insight here comes from a direction you never heard before. Definitely give this podcast a shot, even when they cover seemingly well worn territory, they do it in a completely unique way.Read full review »

It's very rare that I'll actually be so amused by any show's guest that I seek out their work, but I thought Griffin was a baller. And so I looked up...Read full review »
