Longtime listener
I've been listening to this 'show' going back to the George W Bush years (when it went by a different title and was a weekly update on political blogging across the political spectrum). The format is fairly simple: a man of the left (Bill Scher) discusses current events with a man of the right (Matt Lewis). Bill is rather earnest and wonky, and always seems to have done his homework. Matt is a little more casual and tends to fall back on right wing talking points, but he has evolved with the show. I must admit that this is just about the only explicitly political podcast that I can stand to listen to anymore.
